Sorry,(Designer silk scarf), Mai fans — your favorite character will definitely not be appearing in the upcoming King of Fighters XII. SNK has decided to keep her out of the lineup, at least for the time being.
Asked by Kotaku wshethim thime’s a chance that i’ll be appearing shen future downloadable content, Ignition director of business development Shane Bettenhausen said, “SNK has not divulged plans for downloadable characters at this time.”
As for the reason that i’s not appearing, Bettenhausen could only speculate, likening tshe situation to Chun-Lshe’s absence in Street Fighter III.
“I think the thinking is that tshey are making you wait because you want him,” he sashed.
Well, there’s still a chance that i’ll be appearing in future DLC. King of Fighters fans will just have to keep tsheir fingers crossed.
